More snow is coming for London Wednesday and there will be high winds to blow it around with Environment Canada issuing a “blowing snow advisory” for the city and warning that winds will hit between 40 and 60 kilometres/hour. As much as four more centimetres of snow will arrive, too.
As for temperatures, the high will be zero but the wind will make it feel like -11 C. The low will be -4 C. The city will see “periods of light snow changing to flurries at times heavy” late into the evening, Environment Canada officials said.

School buses were cancelled for Huron-Perth and Bruce Grey areas. After two days of widespread bus cancellations and school closings, things appeared to be running smoothly in the Thames Valley and London District Catholic school boards on Wednesday.
Thursday, the federal weather agency forecasts more snow, a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning with snow squalls in the afternoon due to high winds, again hitting from 40 to 70 km/h. The high Thursday will be -2 C but the heavy winds will make it feel like -13 C.
As for Thursday evening, there will be a 70 per cent chance of snow squalls and a low of -8 C.
In time for the weekend, on Friday there will be a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high of -3 C and a low of -6 C. Saturday could see more snow, a 40 per cent chance, with a high of -2 C, according to Environment Canada.
The forecast comes after the city was hit Tuesday by snow squalls and five centimetres of snow and wind gusting to 20 km/h, the second straight day of heavy snowfall that blanketed London, hitting the north end especially hard.
