The Red Clay Strays will headline on Wednesday July 9 – the first of four straight nights of music – along with Wyatt Flores, Bayker Blankenship, Waylon Wyatt and Maggie Antone. The sold-out 2024 show by Tyler Childers shows local music fans want live country music, organizers say.
“(After last year) we knew we had to bring back another night of the hotter-than-ever Americana/country scene,” Brad Jones of Jones Entertainment Group said in a statement.
The Red Clay Strays are an Alabama-based group that peaked with the 2022 single Wonder Why, the video for which has been viewed 16 million times on YouTube. They also have the hit song Wanna Be Loved.

This will be the festival’s 21st edition, coming off a 2024 that was hit by a massive rain storm and the cancellation by big-ticket headliner Neil Young, who was replaced by Bryan Adams.
When it began two decades ago, Rock The Park was a classic rock-themed event, originally as a fundraiser for Bethany’s Hope – which supports research for metachromatic leukodystrophy. The 2025 event is sponsoring the Children’s Health Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Anita May Music & Mental Health Fund, organizers say.
It has evolved into a four-night series of lineups, each focused on a separate genre. In 2023, for example, hip-hop star Ludacris headlined one night along with performers Ja Rule and Ashanti. On another night, Toronto rockers Billy Talent headlined along with Alexisonfire.
Star performers over the years have included Sammy Hagar, Tim Hicks, Flo Rida, the Tragically Hip and Meat Loaf. Organizers say that over the years, the concerts have drawn nearly 700,000 people to downtown’s Harris Park and raised an estimated $4 million for charities.
This summer’s edition will run from Wednesday July 9 to Saturday July 12. The closing night’s lineup has already been announced and features Lee Brice and the Reklaws.
