One person was seriously injured in a crash in east London involving a pedestrian on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 2 p.m. at Oxford and First streets, London police said in a post on X.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said, and all of “the involved parties” remained at the scene.
The investigation has been re-assigned to the force’s traffic management unit, police said. Investigators closed down the intersection before the start of the afternoon rush hour and flew a drone overhead.

Police seize drugs, imitation firearm, charge two men
Two men from South Huron are charged after police seized almost $4,000 worth of illegal drugs and an imitation firearm.
Two individuals were arrested and charged after a search of a property on Main Street in Exeter on Nov. 28, Huron County OPP said.
The total value of drugs seized is estimated at $3,945. The total value of seized property, including an imitation firearm pellet gun, is $1,400, police said.
A 29-year-old man from South Huron is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with probation.
A 58-year-old man from South Huron is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of opioids.
Both men were released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on Jan. 13.
