As it shapes its new three-year strategic plan, Woodstock Hospital has launched a campaign to garner feedback from employees and citizens.
As part of Woodstock Hospital’s engagement phase, its Share Your Voice, Shape Your Care is seeking participation from hospital staff, patients, families and community members to “guide the hospital’s priorities and address the changing health-care landscape,” the hospital said in a news release.

“By listening to the valuable insights of our community, we can ensure our future direction aligns with the evolving needs of Woodstock and Oxford County residents, while enhancing the care and services we provide,” Woodstock Hospital president and chief executive Perry Lang said in a statement.
The campaign will permit the hospital to collect “vital input” to inform the hospital’s plan, the hospital said.
“This plan builds on the strong foundation our dedicated staff has created through their unwavering commitment to exceptional people-centred care,” Lang said.
To facilitate participation from the public, posters containing QR codes that link to the survey will be available through the hospital and in community spaces, the hospital said.
“We encourage everyone to take a moment to complete the survey and help shape the future of care at your community hospital,” said Jennifer Lynch, the hospital’s director of strategic planning.
Built in November 2011, Woodstock Hospital has 178 hospital beds and provides primary care to a population of 55,000 people as well as specialized care to 110,000 people in Oxford County.
“Health care is something we all value, and you never know when you or a loved one may need care at Woodstock Hospital,” Lynch said.
