London man, 28, killed in rural Huron County collision
A 28-year-old Londoner is dead after a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck, Huron OPP said Wednesday.
At about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Perth Road 164 and Sunshine Line in South Huron.
The driver of the pickup truck was killed, police said.
Sections of Perth Road 164 and Sunshine Line were closed for several hours, but have since re-opened.

Police released no names of those involved in the collision and the investigation continues.

Sleeping suspects charged after pickup theft
Two Londoners are charged after a vehicle reported stolen was recovered in the city’s west end over the weekend, police report.
London police said Wednesday they were called about 9 a.m. Saturday to the 300-block of Sovereign Road where two people appeared to be sleeping inside a pickup truck in a parking lot. After officers arrived, they discovered the truck had been reported stolen.
A man and a woman left the vehicle, with the man fleeing and the woman arrested, The man was later located and arrested, police said.
A 41-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were charged with possession of property obtained by crime valued at more than $5,000. The man was also charged with failing to comply with terms of a release order, police said.
The male suspect was held in custody, pending a court appearance Wednesday. The female suspect is expected to appear in court on Aug. 22.
