Last week, I had the honour to lay a wreath at the Sooke, B.C. Legion cenotaph commemorating one of the seven paratroopers who perished when dropped into the Petawawa River in May 1968. Prior to the ceremony, I found an article in The London Free Press from May 2018 featuring Lynette Riddell, widow of M.W.O. Riddell. She was 85 at the time. Read More
