Memory kept alive

Last week, I had the honour to lay a wreath at the Sooke, B.C. Legion cenotaph commemorating one of the seven paratroopers who perished when dropped into the Petawawa River in May 1968. Prior to the ceremony, I found an article in The London Free Press from May 2018 featuring Lynette Riddell, widow of M.W.O. Riddell. She was 85 at the time.

If she is still with us, or has family in the area, please let them know the airborne family is still keeping their memory alive. If you would like to connect with me, please email rharvey@postmedia.com and pass along your contact information.
