It was Hockey Night in St. Thomas on Wednesday when the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres faced off in an exhibition game at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. The game capped a day of celebration in West Lorne, a community of about 1,300 southwest of St. Thomas that beat out three other centres to win the Kraft Hockeyville title and the right to host an NHL game. The game was played in St. Thomas because of limited seating at the West Elgin Arena. Photos by Derek Ruttan Read More
