Reader to Reader: September 9, 2023

I needed information about city taxes I had paid three years ago. I went to city hall and talked to an employee. After taking my information, she said she either would email or send by regular mail the information I needed. I was about to leave when she said she would make a phone call to clarify everything. She came back to me and said if I could wait 10 minutes, they could have the information for me. I gladly waited and sure enough, another employee came with two copies of the paperwork I needed.
