SPORTS BRIEFS: Sr. B North Stars fill the net against Brooklin

SR. B NORTH STARS TOP MERCHANTS
Jake McNabb and Tanner Buck each netted four goals as the Owen Sound North Stars beat the Brooklin Merchants 16-7 inside Luther Vipond Memorial Arena in Whitby Friday night. With the victory, the N’Stars improve to 1-1 on the 2023 Ontario Series Lacrosse campaign. Dan Keane scored twice for Owen Sound while Jordan Caskenette, Pat Saunders, Riley Thompson, Mike Fieghan, Wyatt Barfoot and Zac Tomkinson all tickled twine. Craig Wende earned the win in net. Owen Sound will now host Brooklin in their home opener Saturday at 7 p.m. inside the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Read More
