The sketchiest job title I’ve had on a pay stub was “Unqualified Teacher.” Back when I volunteered at my kids’ school, the office occasionally called me in to fill a hole. Schools are required to hire qualified teachers to fill an absence where possible, and rightly so. If no substitute teacher was available an hour before morning bell, they would hand the lesson plan to someone with a police background check on file, who could teach integers or wrangle a kindergarten on short notice.
