A London man is charged for the second time in the past four months after hate symbols and words were spray-painted at a London elementary school, police say.
London police say it was about 7 a.m. on Monday when they were notified about graffiti-style damage at a school on Hawthorne Road, located in a suburban neighbourhood in northwest London.
Police say video surveillance footage that was analyzed by officers showed a man damaged the property shortly before midnight on Sunday.

Officers arrested a man on Monday, police said. Mariusz Christopher Grabarczyk, 41, is facing the following charges:
- Mischief under $5,000
- Three counts of failing to comply with a release order
Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime. Grabarczyk was scheduled to appear in London court on Tuesday in relation to the charges, police said.
Grabarczyk was also charged this summer after London police said a man spray-painted “hate-related phrases and messaging” on and around a Hawthorne Road school. Photos on social media showed antisemitic messaging scrawled on the sidewalk outside Emily Carr public school and a Thames Valley District school board spokesperson confirmed the incident took place at Emily Carr.
Graffiti referring to “Jews” and including the N-word was visible outside the school after the August incident before it was removed.
Anyone with information in relation to Sunday’s incident is asked to contact London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
