London police say Kerry Ann Marie Bailey, 54, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder in the slaying of 48-year-old Darko Lukic, who died after being found critically injured near his apartment building at 122 Base Line Rd. W. on July 20.

Earlier this month, 30-year-old Jamie Lynn Bailey was arrested in New Brunswick and faces the same charge. It’s unclear whether the two women who share the same last name are related.
Police previously arrested Dauntae Johnson, 19, in August and obtained an arrest warrant for Joseph Veneau, 30. Both men are charged with second-degree murder. Veneau was arrested in Halifax, N.S., two weeks later and returned to London.
Court documents allege the younger Bailey assisted Johnson and Veneau “for the purpose of enabling them to escape” some time between July 19 and Aug. 17.
Both men are additionally charged with assault with a weapon – Veneau faces two counts of the offence – for alleged attacks with a blunt object on the same day Lukic was fatally injured, according to court documents.
Investigators haven’t released Lukic’s cause of death but say he didn’t know his accused killers.
Lukic, a father of two, has been described by friends and family as a kind man who was known for performing small acts of kindness for neighbours in the geared-to-income building that he called home. His death was the fifth homicide of the year in London.
