The Ontario government is offering a $50,000 reward in a renewed plea for information about the disappearance of a woman last seen in London more than three years ago.
34-year-old Deana Timms of Sarnia was last seen leaving a London home in late February or early March 2021, according to Ontario Provincial Police. Timms was reported missing by family in February 2022 – roughly one year later.
Investigators now believe the disappearance is the result of foul play, after previously stating they did not believe this to be the case.
The hefty reward is for anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Timms’ disappearance, OPP said.

Timms is described as five-foot-four and 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The investigation is being led by Ontario Provincial Police in Lambton County.
In March 2023, Ontario Provincial Police officials put out a call for help finding Timms. At the time, spokesperson Derek Rogers said in a statement: “Our investigators are hopeful that Deana is still alive, but she has not been in contact with anyone since she was reported missing.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call the dedicated police tip line for the case at 1-844-677-9402 or email OPP.TIMMS.Missing.Person@opp.ca. Anonymous reports can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
