The Owen Sound North Stars still seek their first Major Series Lacrosse win after falling 19-12 to the Oakville Rock at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre Monday night.

Josh Dawick, Andrew Kew and Ryan Lanchbury led the offensive onslaught as the Rock improved to 2-0 on the year.
With the loss, the N’Stars fall to 0-5.
Dawick’s 11 points (three goals, eight assists) paced Oakville up front while Andrew Kew added four goals and six helpers and Ryan Lanchbury’s five goals and three assists helped the Rock earn the win.
Sam English netted a hat-trick and added five assists for the Rock. Marley Angus (2), Ty English and Dalton Sulver added goals.
Tanner Buck, Jackson Reid, Cam Acchione, Steven Portelli and Johnathan Peshko each scored twice for Owen Sound while Greg Elijah-Brown and Will Cecile added markers.
Kaleb Martin and Chase Cosgrove shared the net for Owen Sound in the loss. Troy Holowchuck made 45 saves on 57 shots to earn the win for Oakville.
The North Stars won’t play again until June 22 when they host the Peterborough Lakers at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre with game time set for 7 p.m.
