London police were investigating an early morning death in west-end Byron on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called at 5:30 a.m. to the 1400-block of Commissioners Road West, near Boler Road, for a report of an unresponsive man, police said.
The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
There was no risk to public safety, police said, adding the investigation was in its early stages. Police were working with the regional coroner’s office to determine a cause of death.

Man charged in Chatham crash
A man is facing impaired driving charges after officers responded to a single-vehicle crash in a residential neighbourhood on Monday, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers were called to a collision on Paxton Drive in Chatham at about 6 p.m. after information was received about a vehicle that struck and tree and a pole, police said.
Officers arrived at the scene and believed the driver of the vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.
He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for breath tests, police said.
It was also confirmed the man was wanted for an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court regarding a June 2023 assault investigation, police said.
A 42-year-old Chatham man has been charged with impaired driving and having a blood-alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit, police said. He was released from custody with conditions and a June 24 court date.
