A sinkhole created by a water main break took a parked vehicle out of commission Wednesday morning.
A Honda Civic parked on Nelson Street in Brantford sank into the sinkhole that formed.
“Earlier this morning, city crews responded to a water main break at this location, which caused instability beneath the roadway and resulted in the formation of a sinkhole,” Brantford spokesperson Stephanie Quattrociocchi said. “Unfortunately, a parked vehicle was affected by the sinkhole. We understand that no one was hurt.”
