London police are seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects in a roadway attack that badly injured a man described in an online fundraiser as a husband and dad who was out getting food with his wife when he was assaulted.
Police say a man and woman were driving in the area of Brydges and Hale streets around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 26 when they noticed a suspicious vehicle, described by police as a red SUV, following them. As they approached Brydges and Cornish streets, police say the SUV tried to block them from driving forward.

When the woman stopped her vehicle, two men got out of the SUV and approached the passenger side of the couple’s vehicle, police said, adding the man in the passenger seat exited and was assaulted by two men, police said.
As the woman called 911, both suspects returned to their vehicle and drove off, police said. The man was driven by the woman to hospital, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said, adding he has since been released.
An online fundraiser names the victim of the Nov. 26 attack as Kyle Bradley, a factory worker and dad of two who was riding with his wife to get food that Tuesday evening when the incident occurred. The fundraiser states he was stabbed and suffered a fractured right arm and broken left arm along with other injuries.
He may suffer “permanent nerve damage in his arm and hand,” states the online fundraiser organized by friend Melissa Gadea. It had raised about $5,200 toward a $10,000 goal as of Tuesday.
Bradley’s wife is in school and he faces three months of recovery, the fundraiser states, leaving the family “in urgent need of financial support.”
