A London woman is one of seven people facing charges after police seized more than $250,000 worth of drugs during searches across Southwestern Ontario.

The OPP and Woodstock police launched Project Napoli in August to combat drug trafficking in Oxford County and the other parts of Southwestern Ontario.
Police say that investigators carried out 10 searches in Woodstock, Oxford County and Kitchener on Nov. 21, seizing 1.6 kilograms of suspects methamphetamine, 1.3 kilograms of suspected cocaine, 2,500 Xanax tablets, $20,000 cash, cellphones and digital scales, police said on Tuesday, valuing the drugs at $281,000.

Seven people, including a Londoner and two Woodstock residents, face a combined 18 charges including drug possession, drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, breach of an undertaking and breach of probation.
Six of the seven accused have been released from custody, while one man is being held for a bail hearing, police said.
Gun, drugs seized in Tillsonburg: Ontario Provincial Police
A gun and illegal drugs worth $10,000 were seized in Tillsonburg and a Brampton man arrested following an Ontario Provincial Police investigation, police say.
It was about 9 a.m. on Nov. 29 when police say Oxford OPP officers arrested a man on Lisgar Avenue. Businesses and residents nearby were told to remain inside for a brief period during the investigation, police said, adding no one was injured.
A 19-year-old man is facing a raft of charges including careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm and drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in Woodstock court at a later date.
