A London man faces multiple charges after an employee at a York Street coffee shop was threatened Sunday afternoon.
A man was asked to leave a coffee shop on York Street near Lyle Street at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The man raised his hand and pointed an unknown object at an employee who believed the object was a firearm, police said. The man also made death threats.

Police were called and officers arrested a suspect at the scene who had an imitation firearm in the form of a torch-style lighter, police said. No injuries were reported.
A 46-year-old London man is charged with using an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, uttering threats of death or bodily harm and breaching probation.

Two people taken to hospital following assault: OPP
Two people suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital following an assault in Tillsonburg, police said.
Oxford OPP officers responded to a reported assault on Dogwood Drive at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
A 21-year-old Tillsonburg resident faces several charges, including two counts of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and pointing a firearm.
The accused has also also been charged with using an imitation firearm while committing a criminal offence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and failing to comply with probation and release orders.
