For many years I loved to receive garden magazines, especially the British ones. They had so many ideas that I had not seen before and lots of plants I could only dream of growing here.
Many of those magazines have switched to a digital versions, which are often less expensive and a great gift for your gardener.
Gift certificates are always welcome and I love when they come attached to a plant that I can enjoy while I patiently wait for spring. Gift certificates for services, such as landscape design, are also nice.

Garden tools, such as long-handled shovels and ergonomic hand tools, are always a nice gift. These tools are designed to put less stress on our bodies while gardening.
I love to share so I have given IOU’s for plants from my garden to someone else in the spring. The younger members of my family, who have just started out gardening, love to come and help split plants in my garden to take home to start gardens of their own.
Many of us make jams and pickles with the produce grown in our gardens. These make wonderful gifts in a basket. Share your talents and food with the ones you love.
