Getting the message
A clear message has been sent by the American people to the establishment. A massive victory for Donald Trump’s Republicans. Congratulations.

Walk the talk
Regarding the letter to the editor from Ron Reesor Address root cause (Oct. 31).
Being the parent of a homeless person, it never occurred to me it was because of my ineffective parenting. From the age of 15 into his late 20s, I searched for help from numerous agencies, all of which provided excellent care.

When you are dealing with mental health and self medicating, it does not matter what kind of parent you are. Now 38, my son is no longer an addict, but his mental health prevents him from living the life he deserves.
Since Reesor has all the answers from all the articles he has read, perhaps he can tell me once more what a bad parent I am.
I wear a size nine shoe if he would like to wear them.

Wasted effort

Do these special machines also sweep the sidewalks?

No fireworks

Spend more wisely
I agree with the letter Ford should resign (Nov. 1) from John Goldrick.
Instead of $200 to every Ontario resident, if Ford gave the lion’s share of that $3 billion to health care with the remainder going to education, people might warm up to him a bit. This money came from me and every other taxpayer in Ontario.
Maybe next time, ask taxpayers where their money should be spent, before you just pee it away.
