Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in south London crash: Police

One person was taken to hospital with critical injuries following a collision between a pedestrian and a motor vehicle in south London, police say.

London police said that a man suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash, which took place on Tuesday evening at about 6:45 p.m.

Police said that emergency crews responded to the area of Commissioners Road and Wharncliffe Road South in response to the collision. The intersection was closed while investigators remained at the scene.

All witnesses and drivers remained at the scene, police said, adding that as of Wednesday morning the investigation was in its early stages and had been assigned to the London police traffic management unit.

Police probe two incidents in Delhi

Ontario Provincial Police hope the public can help identify individuals involved in a mischief incident on Fifth Street in the Southwestern Ontario town of Delhi.

OPP officers in Norfolk County were called to the property on Nov. 1, when it was determined that some time between 3:01 p.m. and 3:14 p.m. one or more persons damaged a parked vehicle, police said.

Police were also seeking help to locate a stolen pickup truck and identify the persons responsible for the theft.

Norfolk OPP were called to an Argyle Avenue property in Delhi just before 5:30 a.m. on Monday. Police say that some time overnight a red 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen.
