The London man, identified as Darko Lukic, 48, died in hospital, police said Friday.

The death has been ruled a homicide – the city’s fifth of the year – but no cause of death has been released.

Police haven’t arrested any suspects in the case and are appealing to anyone in the area between 5 a.m. and 8:30 a.m on July 20 who has information, or surveillance or dash-cam footage, to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to call London police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Lukic’s death comes just over a week after Breanna Broadfoot, 17, died in hospital two days after her boyfriend, Kuhkpaw Moo, 18, stabbed her and a 22-year-old man at his east-end home on July 16 before he was fatally shot by police.

Two officers opened fire after encountering a man armed with a knife, the Special Investigations Unit said.
