A 22-year-old faces several charges including driving without a licence after a west London hit-and-run that sent a pedestrian to hospital, police say.
It was about 7:30 p.m. Sunday when police say emergency crews were called to a collision at the intersection of Oxford Street and Wonderland Road. Paramedics took a pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The driver involved in the crash left the scene, police said, driving west along Oxford Street. Police described the vehicle involved as a white van. Investigators asked the public for help tracking down the vehicle and its driver.
Wednesday, police announced the following charges against a 22-year-old Londoner:
- Failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing bodily harm
- Careless driving causing bodily harm
- Driving without a licence
The accused was set to appear in court on Wednesday. The pedestrian remained in hospital, police said.
Police called to ‘workplace incident’
Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews were called to a “workplace incident” at a home in the community of Dutton-Dunwich that resulted in a teenager being flown to hospital for treatment.
It was about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when police say emergency crews, including St. Thomas paramedics, were called to a home on Aberdeen Line near Iona Road in the rural community, located about a 40-minute drive southwest of London.
Police say a 19-year-old was flown to hospital with serious injuries suffered during a fall that happened “while performing work on the property.”
Ontario’s labour ministry had been notified and was expected to continue the investigation, police said.
