Health-care kudos
Recently, there have been many negative comments about our health care system, but mine is a very positive one.
Last November, I went to Victoria Hospital ER with heart pain. I was assessed, admitted immediately and within hours was in a cardiac unit bed. The next day, I was transported by ambulance to University Hospital for a successful stent placement operation and returned to Victoria that same day to recover.

I was back home within three days and feeling great and now in the Cardiac Rehab Program at St. Joseph.

Group art show
Works of local young artists and adults’ visual art lovers will be shown on Sunday, June 16, 2-5 p.m. at ArtVenture Art Studio, 1438 Aldersbrook Rd. More than 100 pieces of artwork in a wide range of media and styles will be on display. This free event is open to the public and suitable for all ages. Decoration day service
The board of trustees of Medway Cemetery would like to invite everyone to attend our annual Decoration Day Service at the cemetery at 14405 Ten Mile Road on Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m. Please bring your lawn chairs and sun screen for the outside service. In case of rain, the service will be held at Siloam United Church on Fanshawe Road East in London. Cemetery board members will be present from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to assist visitors.
