Two suspects sought after shots fired at two buildings: OPP

Police are asking for help identifying two suspects who fired gunshots at two buildings in Delhi.

Police were called Monday at 9:23 p.m. to reported gunfire at an address on Talbot Road in Delhi, a community 20 kilometres east of Tillsonburg, Norfolk County OPP said Tuesday.

Investigators found evidence shots had been fired at an apartment building and a home on Queen Street, causing exterior damage, police said. Nobody was injured.

Witnesses reported seeing a woman arriving at both locations around 9 p.m. in a black Ford Escape driven by a male. The SUV left the area briefly before returning and shots were fired from inside, police said. The vehicle was last seen travelling on Talbot Road toward Highway 3.

Police released images of both suspects and their vehicle Tuesday.

The woman is white with orange hair and believed to be in her 20s. She was wearing a light-coloured sweater, blue jeans and sandals. The man is white and believed to be in his 20s. He was wearing a hat, sunglasses, a black balaclava and a white shirt.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the suspects or the shooting to contact Norfolk OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477. Anonymous tips can be left at www.helpsolvecrime.com.

Police also are asking homeowners to check their home surveillance systems for footage of the incident.

“Residents in the area are urged to be vigilant of their surroundings and to report any suspicious individuals or activities to the police immediately,” police said.
