The best in business in the Owen Sound area will be honoured this week.

The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce will hand out its 2024 Business Excellence Awards at the Best Western Inn on the Bay on Thursday evening.
Each year the chamber celebrates the achievements of businesses and organizations in the community. This year, awards will be handed out in a variety of categories, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of local businesses and business owners.
The award categories include: community service, community service not-for-profit, new business of the year, service excellence, hospitality, agriculture, skilled trade 1-5 employees, skilled trade 6+ employees, small office/home office, entrepreneur of the year under age 35, entrepreneur of the year over age 35, business of the year 1-24 employees, business of the year 25+ employees, and arts and culture.
The dinner and awards runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $70 for members and $75 for non-members and are available at oschamber.com
