The London Fire Department has estimated $75,000 in damages after crews were called to a blaze in the city’s east end Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 1100 Block of Dobie St. – a side street near Oxford Street East and Highbury Avenue North – around 5 a.m. after being notified of a “fully involved” detached garage fire, officials wrote on social media.

Fire department officials said the blaze was out within 30 minutes of their arrival and no injuries were reported.
As a result of the blaze, the detached garage and its contents were damaged, and also an above ground pool sustained melting damage, according to the London Fire Department’s post.
Two Images were published by the London Fire Department depicting the fire.
In the first image, flames and smoke can be seen rising from a structure, while the second photo shows firefighters with a firehose in front of a heavily damaged structure and a cloud of smoke billowing from its remains.
Just before 6:15 a.m. fire crews some crews had begun clearing out, according to fire department officials.
Woman charged after family dispute
A woman faces an assault charge after a family dispute in Chatham, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers called to a King Street West home at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday learned a woman struck a man several times during an argument, police said.
A Chatham woman, 25, is charged with assault, police said. She was released with a future court date set for June 24.
