Dozens of police dogs and their handlers from across the province attended a memorial service Tuesday for Woodstock police service dog Taz, who died July 3 in the line of duty after ingesting methamphetamine during a search in the Stratford area. Members of the public watched the procession of canine units as they made their way on Finkle Street to the Reeves Community Complex, where a private memorial service was held for Taz, who joined Woodstock police in 2021 and was deployed a year later.
