Mandated masking and vaccinations are out. Sports and clubs are in, as are regular school days and some exams as Ontario school boards navigate the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the start of the fourth school year affected by the pandemic, London-area school boards say they hope for a normal year as their combined 106,000 students return to class Wednesday, a day later than normal because of a professional development day for staff on Tuesday.
