Marlene, screening on Saturday at the Hyland Cinema, tells the story of Marlene Truscott and the long fight to help clear her husband, Steven Truscott, of the notorious killing of a 12-year-old girl, Lynne Harper, he knew as children on a military base at Clinton, north of London. Steven Truscott was 14 when he was convicted – widely considered among Canada’s greatest miscarriages of Justice – and LFP covered the trial extensively.
