Victoria Bridge will be replaced this year and next at a cost of nearly $23 million. The bridge that spans the Thames River on Ridout Street is 93 years old and “at the end of its service life,” city officials say. Emergency repairs have been required in recent years. A major detour will be in place for 14 months as Ridout is closed between Horton Street and the entrance to Thames Park.
