For the second time this week, London police are investigating gunfire in the downtown core.

London police say a charge of aggravated assault previously laid against Wilfred E. Pollard in the March 30 shooting on Egerton Street has been upgraded to the more serious offence.

London police were called to the shooting at a home on Ladybrook Crescent west of Viscount Road around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
