MARYANN FORSTER

Maryann Forster passed away peacefully at the Walkerton hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.
She was born in Houston, Texas on May 3, 1949 to the late Dorothy (Moon) and James B. MacLean.
Beloved wife of Bob Forster, of Lurgan Beach.
Greatly missed by sons Allan Forster (Leia King) and John Forster, and grandchildren Madison, Luke, Joe and Lorelei.
Also survived by special cousins Judy Moon, Patty Smart-Abbey and Rick Howarth (Cathy Heinrich). She will be missed greatly by all of her many relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her sister Lynda Jean MacLean.
Maryann enjoyed spending time boating on the Trent Severn Waterway, hosting neighbours and friends at home where she would whip up some fabulous meals (many times without notice), and playing the piano, which she did very well. But above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Following Maryann’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A “Come and Go” celebration of her life will be held at the Ripley Legion from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or charity of your own choice are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Condolences can be made online at www.mackenzieandmccreath.com.
Arrangements entrusted to MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley.
