London police are investigating a serious collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian at Victoria Hospital early Tuesday evening.
According to police, officers and emergency crews were called to a parking lot located on 800 Commissioners Road East at around 5:20 p.m. after it was reported an individual was struck by a vehicle.
A man was located and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
Traffic has not been impacted by the crash, however the south entrance of Victoria Hospital, closest to the adult emergency department has been blocked off by police cruisers.
Officers have deployed a drone (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road to assist with the crash investigation.
