Local residents and business owners are invited to share their ideas for the Town of Hanover’s upcoming strategic plan.
Hanover is working to establish priorities for 2023-2027 and has set up a citizen questionnaire to get feedback from the public.
“We recognize that our ability to consistently deliver exceptional services to our community depends on spending our time, energy and money on the things that matter to our residents”, stated Mayor of Hanover Sue Paterson. “Public input on the Town’s services will provide valuable feedback that will help shape the plan and priorities for this term of council and beyond.”
The questionnaire is available online through a pop-up on the Town website. A direct link to the survey can also be found here.
Those without access to a personal device can visit the Hanover Municipal Office or Library at the Civic Centre and use a public computer to complete the questionnaire. Paper copies can also be found at the municipal office, the P&H Centre’s customer service desk, and at the library.
May 26 is the deadline to submit a response online. Paper copies must be turned in by May 24.
Anybody respondent who enters their name and email address for the Survey Prize Draw will have a chance to win a Hanover Prize Pack.
The “results-focused” 2023-2027 strategic plan is being developed in partnership with Linton Consulting Services Inc.
“Once completed, the strategic plan will support the Town’s vision and will identify Town priorities for strengthening our position as a progressive and vibrant community,” said a statement from the municipality. “The plan will be instrumental in helping the Town respond to opportunities for the betterment of our community and organization.”
