Police are looking for answers after a woman who was reportedly dragged into a south London conservation area by two men Monday morning.
London police say officers repsonded to the area of Westminster Ponds, near Southdale and Wellington roads, at around 11:40 a.m. after a citizen reported seeing a young woman being dragged into the woods by two men.
“Officers responded to the area and commenced a search. Due to the size and terrain of the area, the search is in its early stages and is anticipated to continue for some time,” read a statement from police.
The woman is described as White, around 20-years-old, with a medium build and long brown hair. She was said to be wearing a black sports bra, tight blue jeans and flat shoes, possibly sandals.
The pair of men are also said to be in their 20s, and are both described as White.
Police remain on scene as of Monday afternoon and are asking members of the public for any information they may have.
