South Bruce OPP were busy on April 15, as they arrested two allegedly impaired driver charges within the same two-hour window.
At 3:07 p.m, they first received a report of a suspected impaired driver in Elderslie Township. According to police, a car veered off the road, rolling into a ditch. A 23-year old driver of Arran-Elderslie was arrested and now faces charges of impaired driving and operating over 80 milligrams.
Roughly an hour and a half later, at 4:38 p.m., OPP received another suspected impaired driver call in Kincardine.
A 33-year old driver of Kincardine faces three charges; operating over 80 milligrams, possessing more than one license, and obstructing a license plate.
South Bruce OPP remind drivers that an impaired charge results in a 90-day driver’s license suspension and a seven day vehicle impoundment.
