BURTON HAYES
Burton Wellington Hayes, of Kincardine, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at London Health Sciences Centre, with his family by his side, in his 91st year.
Cherished husband of Judith (Hutchinson) Hayes.
Beloved father of Steven (Shirley) Hayes of Kincardine, Kellvin (Ruth) Hayes of Cargill, and Emily (Steven) Ferris of Paisley.
Burton will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Miranda (Andrew), Keegan (Claire), Nathan (Leanne), Connor (Sarah), Tristan, Trent and Sarah and by his five great-grandchildren.
Dear brother of Alvery (Marjorie) of Lucknow, and brother-in-law of Lorna (Martin) Phelan of Ripley, Marion Hayes of Goderich and Alex Nivins of Nile. Adopted brother of Margaret Traxler and Nancy Brown. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Charlotte & William Hayes and his siblings: Nathaniel, William, Earl, Charles, Agnes, Sam, James, George, Marie, Beatrice, Nellie, Nelson, Alice and Harold.
A funeral service to honour Burton’s life was held on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating.
