OPP have closed Highway 402 in both directions from Sarnia to London due to “extreme weather conditions.”
Lambton OPP said secondary roads are also being affected.
Provincial police are reporting a collision on Highway 402 near Kerwood Road that involves more than 50 vehicles.

A series of collisions also forced the OPP to close Highway 401 between London and Tilbury Friday morning.
Middlesex OPP Constable Jeff Hare said Friday afternoon the conditions on the 401/402 corridor is one of the worst traffic scenes he’s ever seen.
Fortunately, none of the many multi-vehicle collisions that took place during the storm have resulted in serious injury. Two people were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Most of southern Ontario remains under a winter storm warning. However, a blizzard warning was issued for Chatham-Kent, London-Middlesex, and western Elgin County around mid-day Friday.
Residents have been cautioned to avoid all unnecessary travel.
