Five charged following police raids in Ripley

Over $120,000 worth of drugs has been seized by police following a raid at a home in Ripley.

On Thursday, November 3, Ontario Provincial Police officers out of South Bruce attended two locations in Ripley, one on Tain Street and another on Queen Street, seizing methamphetamine and cocaine.

Police say a large amount of stolen property was also seized, including a van, a wood splitter and cell phones.

Five people are facing charges….

-A 73-year-old from Huron Kinloss is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking.

-A 36-year-old from Waterloo Region is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000

-A 26-year-old from Huron-Kinloss is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

-A 22-year-old from Huron-Kinloss is charged with Possession of Cocaine

-A 40-year-old from Kincardine is charged with Possession of Cocaine

All are scheduled to appear at court in Walkerton at a later date to answer to the charges.
