A report of gunshots in West Grey has to led to an arrest.
Officers with the West Grey Police Service responded to a call near the village of Ayton on Tuesday, and located a male in the area on a motorcycle that police quickly learned had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old male from West Grey, was arrested and faces several charges including possession of Meth, Fentanyl and Psilocybin (otherwise known as “magic mushrooms”).
Officers say they found crystal methamphetamine on the man worth a value of approximately $15,000.
West Grey Police say that this incident ended up being unrelated to the report of gunshots.
The man was released by the Ontario Court of Justice following a bail hearing.
