Oxford OPP say one person is in custody following an hours-long police response to a call about a disturbance in a Tillsonburg home.
Ridout Street reopened to vehicle traffic shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday morning. It was closed between Bidwell Street and Rolph Street starting at 12:30 a.m.
The investigation drew dozens of officers and led to the closure of part of the street for several hours.
Police said there was no threat to public safety, however, the public was asked to avoid the area until the situation had been resolved.
This investigation is ongoing and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
