Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from Oxford County, the Norwich Fire Department, and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to a two-vehicle crash at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Sunday.
Police determined that a motorcyclist was travelling north on Gunshill Road and a pickup truck was driving south when they collided head-on.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
The driver of the pickup was also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Gunshill Road is closed at Oxford Road 14 for the investigation, police expect the road to re-open by 8 p.m.
