Two residential break-ins under investigation

Perth County OPP are investigating two separate residential break-ins that resulted in theft of property.

On June 9th, police got a call regarding a theft from a property on Perth Line 88 in the Municipality of North Perth at a home that was being renovated. Unknown suspects entered by breaking a door jam, and stole $755 worth of tools from the site. On June 10th, officers responded to a call for a break-and-enter theft at a residence located on Perth Line 72 in the Municipality of North Perth. Sometime between June 7th and June 10th, unknown person(s) entered the residence and removed cash and jewellery totalling approximately $33,000.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information regarding these crimes to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers. Police are also asking the public to report suspicious activity immediately, and remember to lock doors to vehicles, houses, garages, and sheds.
