LOIS JOHNSON
Lois Johnson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 64.
Lois is survived by her beloved husband David Johnson, and her dear daughter Kelly Johnson. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jay, Hailey and Hayden Trapp.
Cherished by her siblings Mac Catto (Elaine), Grace Surridge (the late Jim), and Verna McConnell. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Bill Johnson and wife Carol, sister-in-law Linda MacTavish and husband Bill, brother-in-law Kenneth Johnson and wife Kathy, and by many nieces and nephews.
Lois is predeceased by her parents Donald and Jean Catto (née Campbell).
Lois will be fondly remembered for her witty personality; she could always put a smile on the faces of people lucky enough to know her. The strength and perseverance she had through her illness could only be admired. No matter her struggle, she was always a great support and never failed to be an amazing spouse, mother and grandmother. Her love was nothing other than unconditional for her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place
Lois didn’t want to have any after life celebrations, so we will just have a small gathering with her close friends and family.
Memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
