Police are searching for a London man who is wanted in connection to an ongoing firearms investigation.
The incident happened Saturday at around 2:30 a.m.
London police responded to a business on Commissioners Road East and Pond Mills Road after gunshots were reportedly fired. A suspect accused of firing a gun took off before police arrived. No one was hurt during the altercation.
On Monday, investigators released a photo of the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Ryan Vernal. A warrant has been issued for Vernal’s arrest on charges of recklessly discharging a restricted firearm, possessing a restricted firearm without a licence and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Anyone with information about Vernal’s whereabouts are asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670. If the accused is seen in public, do not approach him, instead call 911 immediately.
