Suspects flee during attempted break-in at Wroxeter property after being confronted by owner

Ontario Provincial Police out of Huron County are investigating an attempted break-and-enter in Wroxeter earlier this week.

During the early morning hours on Thursday, May 26th, officers responded to Harriston Road after an owner of a property there said they had interrupted a break-in at his garage.

The owner was at the garage when the break-in began, and when they confronted the suspects, one of them brandished a weapon and unsuccessfully demanded keys to a vehicle that was parked outside.

They fled the scene shortly after.

The suspects are described as a taller male, wearing a black ski mask, a black loose-fitting jacket and black pants, while the other suspect had a smaller build, wearing a green jacket and also wearing a ski mask.

Anyone with information on this attempted break-in is asked to contacted Huron County OPP, or Crime Stoppers.
