Paw Patrol drinking bottle recalled due to possible choking hazard

Health Canada has recalled Paw Patrol plastic drinking bottles sold at Dollarama over concerns a piece of the cap can come off, creating a choking hazard.

The recalled 16 ounce bottle comes in four colours – red, blue, purple, and pink – with removable caps in blue, teal, red, and pink. The affected product can be identified by a sticker on the bottom that displays Code: 10-3025349 and UPC: 00667888142255.

According to Health Canada, the removable tip of the cap on certain bottles may come loose if firmly pulled on. That poses a choking hazard for children.

To date, there has been one reported incident linked to the bottle in Canada. No injuries were reported.

Anyone who has one of the bottles should stop using it immediately and return it to the store it was purchased from for a refund.
Consumers can also contact Dollarama for more information related to the recall by emailing clientservice@dollarama.com or by calling 1-888-365-4266 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. a.m. to 5 p.m.
